The Nitecore Tube is a very handy rechargeable keychain LED. Sized like a car key, you barely notice carrying it with you. The torch is equipped with an integrated Li-ion battery. It is easy to charge through USB. So you never have to change the batteries. The housing is made of high value polycarbonate, the same type of which sports helmets, DVDs and products for aviation are made. This makes the lamp waterproof and dustproof according to IP65 standard and it can withstand a drop of up to 1.5 meters.
  
  

In lowest mode, this torch offers 1 lumen. When the torch is in this mode, you can hold down the switch on the top of the lamp. That way you can increase the light output continually up to the maximum output of 45 lumens. By just pressing the switch twice, you directly get the highest mode.

  
  


The torch can be charged using a micro-USB cable. You find this connection on basically all cell phones (except iPhones).

Naturally, this lower value has no consequence for the light intensity of the torch. The advantage of the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standards is that the values can be compared with each other and give a real picture of the actual light intenstiy.

De twee bestelde NiteCore zaklampjes werden snel geleverd, voldeden aan onze verwachtingen en waren voordelig geprijsd.

Gewéldig lampje. Onvoorstelbaar licht in elke betekenis van het woord. Mensen staan constant versteld als ze het aanschouwen. Dat klinkt wat overdreven, maar de prijs-/kwaliteit verhouding hier is echt fantastisch. Niet twijfelen.

Geweldig leuk lampje. En wat een lichtopbrengst!
De behuizing is veel sterker dan ik had verwacht. Na enkele weken intensief gebruik en hangend aan de sleutelbos geen krasje te vinden.
De afsluiting van de usb-poort is ook beter dan verwacht. Niet bang voor de regen dus.
De lamp blijft urenlang branden, wat gunstig is bij wat langere avondwandelingen om door anderen gezien te worden.
Ik had een versie 1 besteld, maar ontving de betere versie 2. 
De pinky kleur is ook helemaal geweldig want veel goedkoper dan dezelfde lamp in een andere kleur. Inmiddels drie exemplaren gekocht voor mijn dochter en mijn echtgenote.

Ik heb dit lampje zelf ook. Deze heb ik gekocht als cadeau en doe dat vaker :-) ... Alle lampjes waarvan je dacht "dit is een perfect EDC/sleutelboslampje" ... écht waar ... ze verbleken bij deze. Loeisterk qua behuizing. Ik gebruik hem nu ongeveer 2 jaar zeer intensief. Ook een volle lading stroom blijft op stand één en twee over deze tijdsperiode onveranderd. Het is niet zo dat een volle lading langzamerhand korter meegaat zeg maar.
Het kleine fragiele lichtbolletje? Onverwoestbaar! Hij gaat wel eens aan in je broekzak, dat is een nadeelTJE, maar niet zo zeer een probleem  want het is altijd in stand één. Op stand één heb je echt heel erg veel branduren dus ik heb nog nooit met een leeg lampje gezeten.

Het opladen gaat prachtig snel. Hij is hartstikke waterdicht. Ik vind het een ge-wel-dig lampje. Ook als cadeau is hij erg fijn om te geven.

Mijn dochtertje heeft er ook een. Ze heeft hem onder haar kussen voor 's nachts. Ook zij is er super blij mee. Ze gebruikt hem ook veel als lees lampje en als 'muggen jaag lampje" omdat stand 2 zo fel is zie je er iedere mug mee in de kamer :-).

En tot slot de service is geweldig! Ik had na 2 jaar mijn usb afsluit rubbertje kapot en ik kreeg volledig onverwacht een nieuwe toegestuurd. Zeer goede service vond ik dat!

Geloof me ... vergeet alle sleutelhangerlampjes (ik heb er véél uitgeprobeerd) en koop deze. Dit is een lampje voor héél veel jaar.
