The Opinel 1541 sharpening stone is a natural stone from the quarries of Lombardy, Italy. This stone is perfect for sharpening your Opinel knife. Since the 15th century these stones are known for their sharpening qualities. The constant and balanced presence of quartz and carbonates in the rock provide excellent sharpening results. This stone is particularly suitable for regularly maintenance on your knives. When you would like to sharpen a very dull blade, it is a good idea to start with a coarser stone. Because of its shape, it is very suitable to carry with you. This grinding stone has to be used with water.

Opinel slijpsteen, kleiner dan verwacht. Maar toch heel handig hij is best fijn je haalt je mes er een paar keer langs en hij is weer scherp,  zonder de glans van het blad te beschadigen. Hij past in je broekzak. Dus handig mee te nemen. Hij is echter wel alleen bedoeld voor Opinel.

Pierre naturelle fine que l'on peut emmener partout. Pas chère, assez petite mais fait son boulot. Nécessite quand même un temps d'adaptation avant de l'utiliser efficacement.

Ik moet het nog wel even leren. Je kan weinig fout doen, omdat het heel geleidelijk gaat. Prima resultaat!
