With the **Petromax Rocket Stove Rf33** you can cook outside safely and in a controlled manner with firewood. This stove is an incredibly efficient wood burner and designed as such that you will quickly reach high temperatures. It is possible to cook almost anywhere with very little fuel. You can immediately start cooking, baking and grilling. Perfect with a Dutch oven. 


This rocket stove uses biomass such as logs, firewood and other combustible material from nature such as pine cones. The combustion chamber is L-shaped. This ensures the right supply of air and thus you optimally benefit from the heat. The stove comes with a rack you place in front of the combustion chamber. Here you place the fuel and then slowly push it further into the stove. You can control the temperature by varying the number of branches or pieces of wood in the combustion chamber. You can extinguish the fire by letting the fire burn out or remove the wood from the combustion chamber. The stove is, with the exception of the cast-iron top ring, completely made from stainless steel filled with insulation material.


You should preferably place the stove on a flat surface that can withstand high temperatures. You can light the stove with, for instance, a firelighter or other material that burns quickly. Afterwards you can start adding thicker material. You place a pan on the cast-iron ring. You can use different types of pans but we recommend using a cast-iron pan. A Dutch Oven for instance. Pans with a non-stick coating or plastic handles often cannot withstand high temperatures.

Avec juste quelques bûchettes de bois de cagette j'ai réussi à porter à ébullition une soupe de légumes. Impressionnant

excelente!!… importante utilizar leña fina, palitos de no mas de un centímetro de diámetro es lo ideal… es algo increíble el rendimiento que le saca a la leña. Con apenas un puñado de ramitas haces una paella y te sobra para poner a calentar agua para el cafe.
  encender es superfacil y rápido, pones dos pastillas de encender en la bandeja recoge cenizas, la metes, un par de palitos y a correr y estas cocinando desde el minuto cero, es tan rápido o mas a la hora de cocinar como el fuego grande de gas de una vivienda y calienta mucho mas, esa capacidad de calentar como un atentico soplete es lo que hace que los alimentos, cocinados rapido a altas temperaturas, mentengan esos sabores y esa sensacion de haber sido echo “ al fuego “, aunque hayas hecho tu filete en una tipica sarten antihaderente.
   muy contento con la compra , lo uso muy a menudo y va de maravilla, no es un simple cubo para quemar leña, hay tecnologia y muy buen diseño en este horno, fogata o como lo quieras llamar… es tan limpio, rápido y comodo como usar un campingas

Suberbe rocket stove, très bien fini on reconnait la qualité Petromax.
Il est léger et plutôt compact ce qui permet de l'emporter en camping ou lors d'un pique nique.
Niveau utilisation, la tôle de prolongement de la chambre de combustion est pratique on peut mettre des morceaux de bois de 40cm de long ce qui est apréciable.
Même si il est petit la puissance de chauffe est largement suffisante pour des grosses marmites, j'ai mis 50 min pour cuire 3kg de pommes de terre dans un faitout inox de 8 litres (chronométré à partir de l'allumage du rocket stove).


Super réchaud fusée ! Son sommet en fonte accueille parfaitement poêles et casseroles. Pratique et efficace, excellent rapport qualité / prix / poids. Se transporte facilement pour peu qu'on achète son sac de rangement. On y insère petit bois, pommes de pin et brindilles, et en moins de 5 min on peut déjà cuisiner dessus, génial. Ayant investi dans des poêles et casseroles en fonte, c'est juste parfait.

Deze brander/stoof aangeschaft voor naast de barbecue. Mooie stevige brander. Goed gebouwd. Nog niet uitgebreid kunnen testen.
