The **Real Steel Solis Lite 7064GY Knivesandtools Exclusive** is a beautiful Knivesandtools Exclusive and a budget version of the original Solis. Much more affordable but almost as good. The Solis was born from the desire of a modern slipjoint pocket knife with a sheepsfoot style blade. This blade shape is outstanding for food preparation and for opening packaging. 

The blade is made from D2 steel. A type of tool steel that is very tough and will retain its sharpness well. D2 steel is not completely stainless, so it needs a bit of care after contact with acids and moisture. In return, you get an incredibly strong steel that stays sharp for a long time and can take a beating.

The Solis is legal in many countries. This is because you open it with two hands, and it doesn't have a full locking mechanism. There is only a slipjoint that offers some resistance. 

The slim deep-carry pocket clip finishes the knife! As such, you can discretely carry it in your pocket. A great detail is the 'split' design of the clip. You see it on many of the handmade knives from Jakub Wieczorkiewicz.

Klein, handlich, leicht - aber doch noch eine vernünftige Klingenlänge - absoluter Handschmeichler. Fasst sich sehr angenehm an. Und liegt trotz der kleinen Abmessungen sicher in der Hand. Und ist richtig scharf.
Bei dem Preis kann man da sogar mehrfach zuschlagen, ist auch ideal als kleines Geschenk.
Ein edc wie es sein sollte.

Petit couteau sympa et léger, que j’ai surtout acheté pour quand je traverse la frontière allemande, où il y a quelques règles sur les couteaux que l’on peut porter en ville ( en France, le port d’aucun couteau n’est autorisé , donc pas besoin de réfléchir, autant prendre un Para3 ou un Giant mouse Biblio...)

Le ressort n’est ni trop ferme ni trop souple, et sa légèreté fait que l’on oublie qu’on l’a en poche. 
 ce couteau peut rendre bien des services

Frère presque jumeau du Luna, Le Solis se démarque par une lame différente et un ressort plus ferme. Il sera plus pratique pour la bricolette à tailler des cartons, ouvrir des paquets et couper des rilsans tout en se faisant oublier clipsé au jean. C'est pas un couteau de travail mais un excellent backup.

Lame excellente comme on peut s'y attendre avec cette marque, ce qui est surprenant c'est le manche, il n'est pas agréable a tenir, rugueux et parait fragile, bon c'était une promo alors je ne vais pas trop me plaindre mais ce n'est pas ce couteau que j’emmènerai d'office avec moi.

Alle reden in grössten Tönen von den Real Steel Stella, Solis und Co. Varianten. Musste deswegen auch zuschlagen. Aber mir persönlich sind diese Messer einfach zu leicht um damit richtig was anfangen zu können. Habe immer das Gefühl das beim ersten Schnitt das Messer auseinander bricht bei dieser ach so leichten G10 Beschalung.......
