The **SOG Snarl JB01K-CP** is a neck knife designed by Jason Brous. This designer has 10 years of experience as a CNC operator and because of this, he is familiar with knife production. He applies his experience and knowledge to his knife designs. His knives are characterised by a functional and imaginative design. What's special about this knife is the very compact size. When it comes to grip, there are several possibilities: use the finger holes, the finger groove or both. Combined with the jimping on the spine of the blade, the grip is very sturdy. The blade is made from stainless 9Cr18MoV steel: easy to sharpen and good sharpness retention. The knife can be carried in a secure and practical way in the nylon sheath it comes with. This sheath has a pocket clip, so you can discreetly attach the knife to your pants or belt. The knife also comes with a cord, so you can carry the knife around your neck: less discreet, but it does honour the knife's name.

Dit nekmes - dat je wel meer aan je riem zal dragen dan om je nek - ligt verrassend goed in de hand. Ik heb het al op verschillende wijzen uit de schede gehaald en steeds voelt het comfortabel aan. Het is bovenal een no- nonsense mes voor dagelijks gebruik aan een schappelijke prijs.

Een handig en veelzijdig klein mesje. Snijd prima ondanks de dikte van 6mm en zal daardoor niet snel breken. Goed te hanteren ondanks het kleine formaat, ook met mijn grote handen. Standaard is de snede wat ruw maar na een snel slijp en stropbeurtje scheermesscherp. Het is geen superstaal maar dat is voor een gebruiksmes als dit ook helemaal niet nodig, dat zou het alleen maar nodeloos duur maken.

De kunststof schede klikt het mes goed vast zonder te rammelen of de snede bot te maken. Met 1 vinger door het gat trek je het mes weer los.  De ruim bemeten stevige riemclip past ook op dikke tactische riemen zoals de mijne en schuift niet, ook niet bij het trekken van het mes.
De snarl heeft inmiddels een vast plekje op die riem gekregen waar het feitelijk onzichtbaar is onder een trui of blouse.

De snarl is een echte SOG in die zin dat het mes 2 gezichten heeft.
Aan de ene kant is het een prima edc mesje dat thuis of op het werk een stanleymes kan vervangen, aan de andere kant is het door het slimme ontwerp van het handvat een uitgesproken tactisch mes .
Ik kan dit mes zeker aanraden!
En koop het dan bij Knivesandtools.nl want een betere prijs en service vind je echt niet.

Gewoon top! Niet al te scherp maar dat is eig wel best zo! Is een echte edc carry hij clipt zo discreet aan je belt met de bijgeleverde sheath. Een echte krachtpatser.

I ordered this particular neck knife after reading several reviews, I was actually surprised with regard to the quality of both the knife and sheath, the knife itself is as useful as a Stanley type knife only a lot easier to carry and much stronger, as a EDC neck knife I don't think you could better. I will probably purchase a extra one. The service from the company was excellent.

de snede is wat ruw en niet superscherp.
even slijpen naar je standaard.
hoeft niet, omdat het een defensief mes is.
snarl betekent grauw, uithalen naar je tegenstander.

een leuk mes om pakjes te openen en een touw door te snijden.
zoek ff je beste grip om het mes te hanteren.

edc, licht en makkelijk te dragen aan je riem.
