The **Spyderco Endura 4 K390 C10FPK390** is the perfect pocket knife for anyone who loves Spyderco knives but feels the Delica is a little too small. The Endura 4 has a blade length of 9.6 cm. A difference of 2.3 cm when compared to the Delica might not seem that much, but this knife feels a lot larger.



Spyderco enhanced this Endure with K390 steel. This is real tool steel. A lot of carbon and an impressive amount of vanadium can be found in this alloy. As such the Endura will retain its sharpness for a really long time. You do, however, compromise when it comes to corrosion resistance. As such you should occasionally add some oil to the blade and be careful around salt and acids.


The dimensions go well with the portability. Because of the FRN (fibre glass-reinforced nylon) the knife is very light-weight. The solidity is increased by the steel liners in the handle. These, however, are milled out to make sure the liners don't make the knife too heavy. FRN can also handle cold, heat, moisture and many chemicals. The pocket clip can be attached in four different places. Both left and right-handed users can easily use this knife. It truly is a friend to all.

Da utilizzatore del coltello posso dire che mi ritengo soddisfatto, come previsto questo acciaio si utilizza molto bene e non si riaffila mai. Usato in cucina ho smesso di usare altri coltelli letteralmente.

Great knife. Really solid frame and liners, with the blade seeming really good and solid. Much more robust than the Paicific salts, and not much heavier. Have been using every day for work and no need to sharpen after a couple of weeks yet. No sign of the blade staining either.

Het mes was vlijmscherp, maar zeer ongelijk en onregelmatig geslepen. Ben ik niet gewend van Spyderco.  Ook zit er verticale speling op het lemmet als je er druk op zet. Iets met een slecht afgestelde backspring of zo?  Mixed feelings dus.

Mijn 2e endura en 2e mes in k390.

Voor als je een leuk stuk k390 wil maar de delica net iets te klein uitvalt en de Police weer te groot.
Gaat door zijn extra paar centimeter gemakkelijk met 1 snede door nagenoeg alle gangbare snijtaken (een appel of sinasappel in stukken snijden gaat vele malen makkelijker dan met een delica bijvoorbeeld). Ergonomisch gezien wat je van een spyderco gewend bent, voor de middelgrote handen onder ons erg fijn - echter geen manix 2 of pm2 niveau van ergonomisch comfort.

K390 is een geweldig staal. Echter niet roestvrij. Gebruik je hem veel en wil je niet constant hoeven oppassen dan is het waard te overwegen een patina te forceren om verdere corrosie wat tegen te gaan.

De engraving is echt geweldig goed gedaan!
