The **Spyderco UpTern C261** is an elegant pocket knife. The design of the UpTern is inspired by that of the Byrd Tern. A slipjoint pocket knife from Spyderco's budget brand. The design is a perfect combination of ease of use, performance and the recognizable Spyderco design style.

The UpTern is an upgraded version of the Tern. Hence the 'Up' in the name. The slipjoint lock made room for a backlock. A solid lock, perfect for daily use. The scales are also different. They are made from polished stainless steel. With a classic style, like the Spyderco knives from the past. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. A good type of steel that is easy to sharpen.

The UpTern is a part of Spyderco's Value Folder collection. These are top-quality Spyderco knives with a reasonable price.

Als kleines EDC Messer absolut zu empfehlen, Verarbeitung einwandfrei. Wobei natürlich klar ist zu den größeren Modellen made in Japan und besser Stahl ist schon ein merkbar Unterschied. 

Mooi mesje. Me vrouw vond hem schattig. Doet wat het moet doen dozen open/kapot snijden. Redelijk vaak bij slijpen. Misschien net iets te duur voor wat het is. 

Excelente navaja peso comedido,afilado bien y con buena ergonomia un pequeño tanque.

This is my first SpyderCo knife; for some reason, I never liked their design but the UpTern caught my eye and I gave it a shot. It is sleek and elegant due to the full SS construction and it easily became my most carried pocket knife. The size is just right and quite comfortable, comes with a sharp factory edge. I wish they issued it with a better blade steel. The pocket clip is a little bit on the large side and is snug as hell.
