This is the only item I have ever bought from knives and tools that is NOT top notch. I have tried it on a few knives and would have got a better result from putting my knives in the cutlery draw. Very sub standard.

Prior to this purchase I used a stone to sharpen my knives and a diamond edge steel to hone the knives. Sadly I left the steel behind at a holiday cottage so I looked for something that would reduce the amount of stone sharpening I would have to do. I bought this and was impressed at just how good it was at sharpening my knives and maintaining an edge. This product is not as expensive as some ceramic sharpening steels but IT IS JUST AS GOOD. Excellent value for money too. I recommend this product.

Excellent product, works very well especially with my Asian knives
