AR-RPM9 steel

Artisan Cutlery developed their very own steel type. This steel, AR-RPM9, is treated with a spray powder technique. It offers hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and easy maintenance. This results in a fine microstructure and sharp edge, setting a new standard in the knife industry.

Made in China

Artisan Cutlery works closely with the production facility in Yangjiang, China. Established in 2004, the facility was originally set up to produce knives for leading brands in the industry. Today, Artisan Cutlery combines modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship to produce knives of the highest quality under its own name.

Artisan Cutlery was founded in 2018 as a small business in the United States, with the vision of creating knives of the highest quality by combining modern technology and techniques with traditional craftsmanship. Artisan Cutlery's designers and machinists strive to reach new heights in knife making, but continue to observe the roots of traditional craftsmanship. CJRB Cutlery, the subsidiary brand of Artisan Cutlery, was launched in 2019 with the aim of providing high-quality knives with an emphasis on affordability and practicality. Since 2022, Artisan Cutlery has grown into a significantly larger platform for artistic inspiration and innovative designs.
