## An incredibly long tradition


The concept works because the history of EKA dates back to 1882. The factory is located in the village of Eskilstuna, sometimes also called the knife capital of Northern Europe. The region has been through good and bad times. After the dust of history settled, however, the largest knife factory of the region became a fact thanks to modernization and properly chosen models.


## Handles made from wood and plastic


Most knives are available with handles made from plastic and wood. The plastic feels soft. This is very comfortable in hand, and it also offers a lot of grip, even in wet circumstances. You can choose from black or striking colours such as orange. Anyone who prefers natural materials can choose from wooden versions. Even though these are not as soft as the plastic versions they still feel great in hand. Finger grooves and ridges take care of enough grip.

The Swedish company EKA produces a lot of practical outdoor tools. When you go out function, weight and practicality are key.
