The **Civivi Placoid C23079-DS1 Damascus, Guibourtia Wood** is a tough and sturdy pocket knife made by Civivi. This particular variant of the Placoid is a more luxurious version with a wooden handle and beautifully finished damascus blade. The knife opens quickly and easily thanks to the caged ceramic ball bearings. You can easily carry this knife with the deep-carry pocket clip.




The Civivi Placoid C23079-DS1 Damascus, Guibourtia Wood, pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour light-brown. With its blade length of 9.3 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 12.7 cm in length and it weighs 135 g.



Opening the Civivi Placoid C23079-DS1 Damascus, Guibourtia Wood, pocket knife is incredibly fast thanks to the flipper or the thumb stud. Once opened, the liner lock ensures the blade is fixed in place. It prevents the pocket knife from accidentally closing.

The blade of this Civivi Placoid is made from damascus steel. It's beautiful and incredibly stylish, but also designed for use. Damascus is created by welding different types of steel together and folding them multiple times, all at very high temperatures and with exceptional craftsmanship. This steel combines ancient techniques with modern skill. The manufacturer doesn’t provide much information about the type of steel, so we can't say with certainty how corrosion-resistant this particular steel is. Therefore, it’s advisable to keep the blade clean and regularly apply a few drops of oil. It wouldn't hurt to apply that piece of advice to your other knives too.
