The CRKT M16 is probably the most iconic CRKT model ever designed. This knife, which was designed by Kit Carson is an homage to the M16 assault rifle, has been around for quite some time. This M16-04KS is a large tanto version. You open it with one hand with the flipper or double thumb stud and it is locked by the framelock. Because the flipper serves as a support for your finger when opened, slipping and ending up on the blade is almost impossible.

Expectations
Reliable design and high-quality inexpensive steel. The knife arrived with loose screws. After reassembly everything fell into place. I also had to sharpen it, the factory sharpening leaves much to be desired. The knife is worth the effort.
