Gerber Spire Assisted 1067367 Aluminium, 440A, pocket knife

The Gerber Spire is an EDC pocket knife with an assisted opening. This means that a spring will give a little push when you open the blade. It does not mean it's an automatic knife. It simply assists you in opening the knife. This is the little pin you see in the handle. It's not the lock, it's the spring of the assisted opener.
