The Hogue Deka is a slender and lightweight pocket knife. It has a very high fidget factor thanks to Hogue's Able-lock. You won't be able to stop yourself opening and closing the blade. But of course, this knife is meant to be used. As you would expect from a Hogue, the handle is fine: excellent grip, and perfectly executed.

Das Hogue Deka in Magnacut ist das beste Preis-Leistung Messer der Welt. Magnacut ist alles, was jeder behauptet, es ist-es ist ein Spiel-Wechsler, ein Stahl, der den Stahl Dilemma der Zähigkeit, Kantenfestigkeit und Korrosionsbeständigkeit Pick zwei bricht. Sicher, Sachen wie M390 war gut an all diesen Fronten, aber wie Daten und Anekdoten zeigen, Magnacut ist deutlich besser bei der Kantenfestigkeit als M390.

General impressions are very good, it was razor sharp out of the box. Not a fan of the pouch that came with it, useless in my opinion. Scales have minimal flex and only if you really squeze them together - this is negligent and knife is as sturdy in hand as any other I handled. Very light in the pocket, easy to forget you're carrying it. I usually carry it in 3rd front pocket of my jeans. Deep cary clip is also superb and keeps the knife firmly in place.
