It is made of solid stainless steel with a matte-gray titanium nitride coating. The assisted opening helps the blade to open quickly and smoothly. Both the thumb rest and the flipper can be used left-and right-handed to open the knife with one hand. The heavy duty frame lock blocks the blade in the open position. It is not possible to push the frame lock too far to the outside. A flange limits the space. In short, a well thought out and safe system.
