The **Real Steel Stella Lux Ivory G10 pocket knife** is a special knife from Real Steel's Stella collection. The handle is made from G10, that includes the backspacer, spring and the pocket clip. An innovative progression to a familiar design. The result is a lightweight pocket knife that does not compromise on functionality.




The Real Steel Stella Lux 7041Z2, K110 DLC Coating, Ivory G10, slipjoint pocket knife is a cool EDC knife in the colour white. With its blade length of 7.5 cm, this knife is suitable for daily cutting tasks. For example, opening boxes, peeling an apple, the odd job around the house: this pocket knife can do it all.



You open the Real Steel Knives with two hands. To make this easier, there's a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.



## Blade made of K110 steel
The blade of the Real Steel Stella Lux 7041Z2, K110 DLC Coating, Ivory G10, slipjoint pocket knife is made of K110 steel. This is a different name for the well-known D2 steel, except K110 is made by Böhler.

D2 is a tool steel that has been used for all kinds of cutting tools since World War II. It is tough, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well. Just be careful with moisture and acids: D2 is not completely corrosion resistant. It can therefore discolour or even rust if you don't take good care of it. So clean and dry it after use, and apply a drop of oil once in a while.



The blade is finished with a DLC coating, which stands for ‘Diamond Like Carbon’. It's a very hard coating that is even harder than the steel. This makes DLC very scratch-resistant, and this coating protects the blade against corrosion. DLC is very hard, but it is also only a thin layer: eventually, you will always see signs of use.



## G10 handle

The Real Steel Stella Lux 7041Z2, K110 DLC Coating, Ivory G10, slipjoint pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 10.3 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Moreover, it is incredibly strong, so it can take a beating.



## About the designer, Jakub Wieczorkiewicz
The designer of this knife is Jakub Wieczorkiewicz, better known by the name Poltergeist. He is one of the most prolific knife designers today.
