The Rough Ryder Cotton Sampler is a cool, traditional pocket knife. As the name might already suggest originally designed to check the quality of cotton. Buyers test the quality of the fibres by pulling it over the blade. You open this knife with two hands and a slipjoint prevents accidental closing. As such you can legally carry this pocket knife in many places in Europe.

A great little knife, surprisingly well made for the price, and beautiful too. Good strong spring action on opening and decently sharp blade too, -and I have wild cotton flowers nearby too in the summer so I shall not be able to resist trying out the whole cotton-fibre test !
