The Spartan Harsey Difensa is a large pocket knife, designed by knife legend William (Bill) Harsey. This model saw the light of day after a request from a Canadian Spec Ops unit that was looking for a solid knife. This unit and Harsey joined forces and came up with this amazing knife. The name Difensa comes from the battle fought by Canadian and American troops in Italy during the Second World War.

Beautifully built, I like the molle attachments on the sheath. Knife retention strap was very difficult to refasten at first but once the position was adjusted was much better. Knife didnt arrive as sharp as I expected but several minutes on a strop fixed that. Will strike sparks with the spine but could be better. Overall nice knife just expensive.
