Normally carry PM2 but find the length lacking for some stuff that this is just right for without being too awkward. I have XXL glove size so this feels bit better in hand. The canvas in the micarta scales isn't completely resin filled like some srbf composites so is really grippy even when damp, stinks when first out the box like I find most phenolic composites do but wears off fast enough in use/time. Compression lock is upgrade over the mk1, can be closed with fingers out of the blade path and is stronger but not prone to dirt and other lockup issues like other lock types that allow that too (eg. axis locks which I find sand and debris etc mess with). Vs the regular mil2 the crucarta versions have full liners which is another bonus for me. Pretty much perfect as expected.
