Hidden features for your convenience

The Civivi Sendy is a compact EDC knife that has more to offer than you might realize at first glance. The handle is equipped with a discreet toothpick and some tweezers. These hidden features make the Sendy a versatile companion for everyday use, without compromising its design.

Smooth operation and ergonomic design

With its in-line flipper, the Sendy's blade opens quickly and effortlessly, adding to the ‘fidget friendly’ experience. The ergonomic handle ensures a comfortable grip, while the slim profile makes the knife easily portable. The blade has a classic 'spey' shape. Traditionally, this blade was used for castrating cattle, but it is also definitely very useful when making yourself a tasty sandwich. Whether you are an experienced knife enthusiast or looking for your first EDC knife, the Civivi Sendy offers a perfect balance of functionality and style.

Civivi Sendy: 'just gonna send iiiit'

There he was, a few weeks before the announcement of the Cedar knife. Ben Petersen received an email from Civivi. The name Cedar could not be used because of trademark problems, and he needed to think of another name quickly. The laser engraving of the blade would be in two days. Slightly irritated, he thought about it for a moment. The whole story behind this knife was built on the name 'Cedar'. The structure of the G10 handle was inspired by ‘cedar shakes’, rustic wooden roof shingles. This material is split by hand, giving it a tough look. In addition, Ben studied in Cedar City and enjoyed tours in Cedar Mesa. Everything was 'Cedar'!

Still, long-term projects do not always go as planned. Life has unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes all you can do is keep rolling with the punches. Inspired by internet legend Larry Enticer, Ben chose the name 'Sendy'. The word comes from the world of skiing, snowboarding and extreme sports. If you're 'sendy', you're just going for it, no hesitation. Just send it!
